Are hair extensions right for you? We are here to help!
We offer virtual consultations for customers who wish to have a complimentary photo consultation with one of our extension specialists. We utilize this method for those that are purchasing extensions for professional installation yet wish to seek a second opinion to determine if they are a candidate for extensions. This option enables you to upload your photo(s) and your basic information for our specialists to review and discuss with you personally. It may take several minutes to upload your file(s) based on your internet connection speed. A good hair photo will display the true current state and length of your hair. We also utilize virtual consultations to assist clients who are currently utilizing the hair extension system, i.e. installation quality, style and upkeep.
Taking Photos:
Please be sure to use a digital camera. Do not use a web cam or still shots from a hand held video camera as the photo(s) will display poor quality. Most individuals are able to capture the best photos utilizing the lighting and space in their bathroom! You can use the mirror and space in order to judge your angles properly. Be sure to use direct, bright lighting angled from above. Ambient lighting will darken the photo hindering view of actual hair quality. Avoid holding the camera, instead use a tripod for steady shots. Avoid use of flash as it tends to create false impressions of the hair’s density. Be sure to take photos of clean, thoroughly dried hair at its natural length. We will require distant (for length) and close up photographs of the hair (for condition).
Submitting Photos:
Please email your photos along with your first name, telephone number and best time to reach you to virtual_consults@pierrediamondtrends.com An extension specialist will contact you based on your requested contact time. Please note we do not share your information or the reason of our call with other individuals. Should we not reach you, the representative will leave their name and telephone number (888-5-PIERRE) only.
You do NOT need to submit a photo exposing your identity (face). We do not utilize these photos for advertising or website material. Upon completion of your consultation, all photos are deleted from the system.
